NOTE: The papers were selected carefully to cover foundation and new trends in the area of Multimedia and QoS networking. This is a tentative schedule and could be changed if necessary. I will send you a notification in case of any changes. Every PhD and MS student was allocated 3 and 2 papers respectively. Because of lack of space, we might have two different presentations from the same student at one time (eg. Deangelo and Denkler). Papers are found under the “Resources” link: http://www.mnlab.cs.depaul.edu/~ehab/Courses/TDC573/resources/ReadingList/
*DL student will use skype to
make their presentation at real-time during the class.
Guidelines:
- Presentation Time is 30-40min + 10 Question time
- Presentation should have at least the following:
o Cover: paper title, authors, publication information
o Introduction: Background and motivation
o Problem definition
o Work contribution
o Technical approach: formalization and experimentation
o Evaluation – should be Brief
o Conclusion: summary and YOUR COMMENTS on the paper
Grading Criteria
- Slides organization (30%)
- Clarity of the presentation (30%)
- Answering the questions (40%)
