NOTE: The papers were selected carefully to cover foundation and new trends in the area of Multimedia and QoS networking. This is a tentative schedule and could be changed if necessary. I will send you a notification in case of any changes. Every PhD and MS student was allocated 3 and 2 papers respectively. Because of lack of space, we might have two different presentations from the same student at one time (eg. Deangelo and Denkler). *DL student will use skype to make their presentation at real-time during the class.

 

Guidelines:

-         Presentation Time is 30-40min + 10 Question time

-         Presentation should have at least the following:

o       Cover: paper title, authors, publication information

o       Introduction: Background and motivation

o       Problem definition

o       Work contribution

o       Technical approach: formalization and experimentation

o       Evaluation – should be Brief  

o       Conclusion: summary and YOUR COMMENTS on the paper

 

Grading Criteria

- Slides organization (30%)

- Clarity of the presentation (30%)

- Answering the questions (40%)
