I completed my PhD from the
College of Computing and Digital Media,
DePaul
University, Chicago, IL in Fall 2008.
My research area is Multimedia Communications over the Internet. I am
a member of AssurableNet Research
Center, Depaul University CDM. I
am an adjunct faculty at DePaul for last six years and at Loyola University,
Chicago, for past two years.
Professionally,
I have over fourteen years of experience in system architecture design,
programming, performance tuning, database administration, system support and
documentation across various platforms. I
have worked with Fortune 500 companies, and have taken part in the delivery of
numerous highly visible projects and am thoroughly conversant with system
life-cycles. I
have also co-authored and presented at various database Users' Conferences.
I am a photographer too. I have a
diploma in professional photography from New York Institute of Photography.
My photographic passion is to express myself as an Indian and identify myself
with immigrants of color. I have studied photography at Columbia
College, Chicago.
And I love to dance salsa
in my copious free time!
